Literature Review on Plasticizers

Illustration showcasing the process of an extensive literature review for data collection on chemicals.

We conducted in partnership with the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), a comprehensive literature review that delved into the exposure assessment of potential plasticisers. Out of 21,453 papers initially identified, systematic screening narrowed down to 383 relevant documents. These spanned key areas such as plasticisers in food, migration of plasticisers, and overall exposure. For every relevant reference, high-level information was extracted to aid the exposure assessment of potential plasticisers, ensuring alignment with EFSA’s specified areas of interest.
